Recap: Brackenridge Eagles vs. Marble Falls Mustangs
After flying high against the Lehman Lobos on Friday, the Brackenridge Eagles came back down to earth. Brackenridge took a 60-52 hit to the loss column at the hands of Marble Falls on Saturday.
Brackenridge's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Javi Solis, who scored 15 points. Michael Canizales was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with 5 assists.
Brackenridge has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-12 record this season. As for Marble Falls, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-9.
Brackenridge's road trip will continue as they head out to face Highlands at 5:00 p.m. on December 12th. As for Marble Falls, they will be playing at home against Davenport at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Davenport's favor is that they have posted big point totals every time they've taken the court this season.
