Basketball Recap: TJ Clark's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Indianapolis Lutheran over Terre Haute South Vigo

Indianapolis Lutheran was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They fell 57-45 to the Terre Haute South Vigo Braves. The Saints were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Braves apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January of 2024.

Indianapolis Lutheran's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was TJ Clark, who went 5 of 10 on his way to 12 points. Another player making a difference was Reece Koomler, who posted 11 points and six rebounds.

Indianapolis Lutheran's loss dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Terre Haute South Vigo, their win bumped their record up to 9-12.

Looking ahead, Indianapolis Lutheran is taking a road trip to take on Perry Meridian at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. That match will pit two of the most dominant guards against one another: Lj Ward and Bryce Mathis. As for Terre Haute South Vigo, they will venture away from home to face off against West Vigo at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
