After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last four matches, Port Washington finally came back down to earth on Saturday. They fell 5-1 to the Kewaskum Indians. The Pirates' loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Port Washington saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Maile Thompson, who went 1-for-3 with one RBI.

Port Washington's defeat dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Kewaskum, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 11-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Port Washington will take on Cedarburg at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Kewaskum, they will square off against Winneconne at 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
