Strawberry Crest took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by an 86-62 margin over the Hillsborough Terriers. The Chargers not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since December 11, 2024 (when they won 67-31).

Strawberry Crest's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Hunter Hall, who shot 57% from the field on his way to 20 points. Hall is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in each of the last four games he's played dating back to last season. Another player making a difference was Jayson Lewis, who dropped a double-double with 16 points and ten assists.

Despite the defeat, Hillsborough saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Anderson Duvars posted 11 points and eight rebounds. Jeremiah Henderson was another key player, putting up ten points.

Strawberry Crest didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 65-62 victory against East Bay on the 19th. As for Hillsborough, they will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on Tampa Bay Tech at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
