Opfermann made his presence known in Mona Shores' 16-1 win
Winning always takes teamwork, but on Friday Nate Opfermann stepped things up a notch to give Mona Shores the 'W'. Opfermann was dialed in and went 3-for-3 with five RBI and a run. He played a big game the last time he faced Union, so the team probably should've seen him coming.
Opfermann's strong effort led Mona Shores over Union and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. Mona Shores is 9-0 against Union going back to May of 2021, a lead they'll look to extend.
