After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Lincoln HomeSchool, South Metro HomeSchool was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They came out on top against the First Baptist Crusaders by a score of 71-64. The Huskies haven't had any issues with the Crusaders recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

First Baptist's loss came despite strong showings from Caleb Lindsay and Isaac Wynja. Lindsay went 6 of 10 from beyond the arc en route to 30 points, while Wynja went 6 for 10 to rack up 15 points and six boards. Lindsay continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Brody Jaeger, who posted 11 points and six rebounds.

South Metro HomeSchool's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for First Baptist, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-15 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. South Metro HomeSchool will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on Prior Lake Christian at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for First Baptist, they will welcome Fourth Baptist Christian at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. First Baptist has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
