Preview: Wahoo Warriors vs. Plattsmouth Blue Devils
Wahoo is 4-0 against Plattsmouth since February of 2021, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. The Wahoo Warriors will head out on the road to challenge the Plattsmouth Blue Devils at 6:00 p.m. Both teams come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
A well-balanced attack led Wahoo over Platteview in every quarter on their way to victory on Tuesday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that Wahoo blew Platteview out of the water with a 50-23 final score. Wahoo pushed the score to 37-12 by the end of the third, a deficit Platteview had little chance of recovering from.
Wahoo can attribute much of their success to Gretchen Seagren, who scored 15 points, and Sidney Smart, who scored 18 points.
Meanwhile, Plattsmouth scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. Everything went their way against Concordia as Plattsmouth made off with a 70-49 victory.
Wahoo now has a winning record of 10-9. As for Plattsmouth, their win bumped their record up to 7-10.
Everything came up roses for Wahoo against Plattsmouth when the teams last played back in January as the team secured a 68-31 win. With Wahoo ahead 40-13 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.
