Softball Recap: Kemp Comes Up Short

Kemp fell victim to Athens and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They came up short against the Hornets, falling 14-0. The Yellowjackets' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it seven in a row.

Kemp's loss dropped their record down to 3-16. As for Athens, their win bumped their record up to 18-9-1.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Kemp is set to take on their familiar foe Brownsboro at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Athens will square off against rival Mabank at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
