Football Game Recap: Oriskany vs. Cooperstown

After soaring to 38 points the game before, Cooperstown faltered in their game on Saturday. They were given a punishing 6-42 defeat at the hands of Oriskany. If Cooperstown were hoping to take revenge for the 26-32 loss against Oriskany the last time the teams met, then they were left disappointed. The contest brought Oriskany to 2-1 and dropped Cooperstown to a mirror-image 1-2.

Next week Cooperstown take on South Lewis at 7:00 PM. Neither of these teams wants a repeat from their last game since each was dealt a considerable loss. As for Oriskany, they will face off against Bishop Grimes. Bishop Grimes have averaged 58 points over the course of their past three games, so Oriskany might be in for a challenge.
