Softball Recap: Monument Valley Mustangs vs. Ganado Hornets

Monument Valley won the last time they faced Ganado and things went their way on Monday too. The Mustangs came out on top against the Hornets by a score of 8-5.

Blu Peterman made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out ten batters over seven innings while giving up four earned (and one unearned) runs off three hits. Those ten strikeouts gave her a new career-high. She was also big at the plate, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base.

In other batting news, Meya-Raye Bahe was excellent, going 3-for-5 with three RBI and one double. Another player making a difference was Kialutayla Two Bulls, who went 1-for-2 with one triple, two RBI, and one run.
