Volleyball Recap: Emily Marino's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Mckinley over South Range

McKinley lost against South Range back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Red Dragons came up short against the Raiders, falling 3-0. The Red Dragons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

McKinley took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-10, 25-13.

McKinley lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Emily Marino, who had 11 assists and five digs.

McKinley's loss dropped their record down to 6-12. As for South Range, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-7 record this season.

McKinley will take on Harding at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for South Range, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Orrville at 5:00 p.m. on the 16th.
