Clover won the last time they faced Fort Mill and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Blue Eagles put the hurt on the Yellow Jackets with a sharp 3-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Blue Eagles.

The victory didn't come easy: Fort Mill scored at least 18 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-20, 25-20.

Despite the loss, Fort Mill saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Gavin Beardsley had nine assists and six digs.

Clover's win bumped their record up to 16-3. As for Fort Mill, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-12 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Clover will take on rival Northwestern at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Fort Mill is set to challenge their familiar foe Rock Hill at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
