Basketball Recap: Hamilton Township Extends Winning Streak to Four

Hamilton Township extended their winning streak to four games thanks to a huge performance from Jael Haynes-Lee. The Hamilton Township Rangers came out on top against the Liberty Union Lions by a score of 40-31 on Friday thanks in part to Haynes-Lee, who almost dropped a double-double on 13 points and nine rebounds. That's the most boards she has posted since back in January of 2024.

Hamilton Township has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a massive bump to their 8-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.3 points per game. As for Liberty Union, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-8.

Hamilton Township didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 39-34 victory against Amanda-Clearcreek on the 20th. As for Liberty Union, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Bloom-Carroll at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
