Baseball Recap: Bosco Tech Victorious

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Bosco Tech walked away with it. They walked away with a 5-1 win over the Flintridge Prep Wolves on Tuesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Tigers.

Roman Valdepena was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. That's the most runs he has posted since back in April. The team also got some help courtesy of Daniel Longoria, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI.

Bosco Tech's victory bumped their record up to 23-6. As for Flintridge Prep, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-16 record this season.

Bosco Tech will venture away from home to challenge Grace at 3:15 p.m. on Friday. The Lancers will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Tigers surely won't give up without a fight. Flintridge Prep does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
