Basketball Recap: Metlakatla Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Metlakatla can now relate to. They fell just short of the Seward Seahawks by a score of 52-49 on Saturday. The Chiefs have been going strong on the season, but this is now their second defeat in a row.

Metlakatla's record now sits at 21-6. As for Seward, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a massive bump to their 16-12 record this season.

As of now, neither Metlakatla nor Seward have any future games scheduled.
