Suring had already won six in a row and they went ahead and made it seven on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Coleman Cougars as they made off with a 3-0 win. This was payback for the Eagles, who suffered a 3-1 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Suring was especially dominant in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-19, 25-14.

Suring's victory bumped their record up to 12-7. As for Coleman, their loss ended a four-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-12.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Suring is set to square off against their familiar foe Crivitz at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Coleman will take on rival Saint Thomas Aquinas at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
