Soccer Game Preview: Norman North vs. Enid

The Norman North Timberwolves are taking a road trip to take on the Enid Plainsmen at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Norman North has four straight wins, Enid has five straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the pitch.

Norman North's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on March 11th. They came out on top against Edmond Memorial by a score of 2-0. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but Norman North were the better team in the second half.

Meanwhile, Tuesday just wasn't the day for Enid's offense. They lost 4-0 to Mustang on Tuesday.

Norman North's victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Enid, their loss dropped their record down to 1-6-2.

Norman North came out on top in a nail-biter against Enid in their previous matchup back in March of 2024, sneaking past 2-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for Norman North since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
