Recap: Round Top-Carmine Cubs vs. Fayetteville Lions
The Round Top-Carmine Cubs entered their tilt with the Fayetteville Lions with eight consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with nine. Round Top-Carmine secured a 53-49 W over Fayetteville on Tuesday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Round Top-Carmine also won the last time the pair played back in January.
Fayetteville lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Cambree Denham, who scored ten points along with six rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Kayme Schley, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 15 rebounds.
Round Top-Carmine pushed their record up to 11-4 with that win, which was their fifth straight at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.2 points per game. As for Fayetteville, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 12-17.
Round Top-Carmine does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Fayetteville also has no future games currently scheduled.
