While Lincoln-Way Central's win against Lincoln-Way West wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Knights had just enough and edged out the Warriors 2-1. The final result isn't all that surprising considering Lincoln-Way Central's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Illinois soccer rankings (they are ranked 31st, while Lincoln-Way West are ranked 200th).

Lincoln-Way Central's record is now 10-3. As for Lincoln-Way West, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-5-1.
