Volleyball Recap: Lia Tiede's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Stoughton over Lakeside Lutheran

Stoughton saw some tournament action on Saturday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lakeside Lutheran Warriors. The Vikings have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-13.

Stoughton lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Lia Tiede, who had 13 assists and five digs.

Stoughton's loss dropped their record down to 7-18. As for Lakeside Lutheran, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-11 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Stoughton will square off against Reedsburg at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lakeside Lutheran, they will take on Lake Mills at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
