Basketball Recap: North Penn-Liberty Triumphs

North Penn-Liberty won against Millville last Tuesday with 67 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Saturday. The North Penn-Liberty Mountie walked away with a 67-55 victory over the Bucktail Bucks. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Mountie.

Luke Kreger was his usual excellent self, going 10-for-15 to rack up 23 points and six steals. What's more, he also posted a 67% shooting accuracy, which is the highest he's achieved since back in February of 2024. Another player making a difference was Adynn Wheeland, who shot 55% from the field on his way to 15 points and five assists.

North Penn-Liberty's win bumped their record up to 17-8. As for Bucktail, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-12 record this season.

North Penn-Liberty does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Bucktail, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 45-30 victory against Sullivan County on the 26th.
