Volleyball Recap: Pendleton Heights Find Success

Pendleton Heights won the last time they faced Mississinewa and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Arabians came out on top against the Indians by a score of 3-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Arabians.

The victory didn't come easy: Mississinewa scored at least 21 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 22-25, 25-22, 25-21.

Carmen Horn paced Pendleton Heights' offense, picking up 14 kills. Horn got some help from Emmi Custer and her 26 assists. Stella Short controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

The win got Pendleton Heights back to even at 15-15. As for Mississinewa, their loss ended a four-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 21-5.

Looking ahead, Pendleton Heights will host Muncie Burris at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Mississinewa, they will head out on the road to face off against Frankton at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
