            Softball Recap: Plainfield Quakers vs. Franklin Community Grizzly Cubs        
        
		
        
        
            Plainfield put another one in the bag  on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past the Franklin Community Grizzly Cubs 9-3. Considering the Quakers have won three matchups by more than five  runs this season, Tuesday's  blowout was nothing new.
Plainfield got a great performance from  Sidney Parks as she  struck out nine batters over  six innings while giving up just two earned runs off   five  hits.

 At the plate,  Ayva Mayes was  incredible,  going a perfect 4-for-4 with one  home run, three  runs,  and three  RBI. Those  four  hits gave  her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of  Kylie Fish, who  went 2-for-4 with two  runs, one  triple,  and one  RBI.
 Plainfield was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .406. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Franklin Community only posted a  batting average of  .250.
Plainfield pushed their record up to 4-0 with the  victory, which was their sixth straight  at home dating back to last season.
They will have a chance to go back-to-back against Franklin Community: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled  at 6:00  p.m.  on Wednesday.
