Volleyball Recap: Hillsboro Christian Academy's Undefeated Season over After Three Games

If Hillsboro Christian Academy was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Westfall last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Hillsboro Christian Academy lost 3-0 to the Ross County Christian Academy Eagles on Tuesday. The defeat continues a trend for the Crusaders in their meetings with the Eagles: they've now lost eight in a row.

The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-12, 25-16.

Blake Wheeler paced Hillsboro Christian Academy's offense, picking up seven kills. Wheeler got some help from Abe Dockins and his ten assists. Wheeler was also solid from the service line: he led the team with four aces.

Having lost for the first time this season, Hillsboro Christian Academy fell to 2-1. Ross County Christian Academy has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Hillsboro Christian Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 3-0 loss against Unioto on the 27th. As for Ross County Christian Academy, they will head out on the road to face off against CHESS Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
