Soccer Recap: Apple Valley Takes a Loss

Apple Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Oak Hills Bulldogs, falling 4-1. While losing is never fun, the Sun Devils can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 681st, while the Bulldogs are ranked 27th).

Apple Valley's goal came courtesy of Emmanuel Ramirez, who's now up to four this season.

Apple Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8-4. As for Oak Hills, the win keeps them at an undefeated 17-0-1.

Apple Valley didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 5-1 victory against Serrano on the 28th. As for Oak Hills, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next matchup, a 1-1 draw against Sultana on the 28th.
