Preview: Meadow Bridge Wildcats vs. Man Hillbillies
Having just played yesterday, the Meadow Bridge Wildcats will head out on the road to face off against the Man Hillbillies at 7:00 p.m. on February 9th. Man took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Meadow Bridge, who comes in off a win.
Meadow Bridge came into Thursday's game having lost four straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They took down Liberty 62-43 on Thursday. Meadow Bridge's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
It was another big night for Kierston Rozell, who scored 26 points along with two steals and two blocks. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. Charity Reichard was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with six assists and five rebounds.
Meanwhile, sadly, Man is still looking for their first win of the season after 12 games. They were outmatched by St. Joseph Central on the road and fell 73-25.
Meadow Bridge's victory bumped their record up to 10-8. As for Man, they dropped their record down to 0-12 with that loss, which was their sixth straight on the road.
Meadow Bridge came up short against Man in their previous meeting back in February of 2023, falling 47-36. Can Meadow Bridge avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
