Baseball Recap: Westlake Comes Up Short

Westlake was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 13th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Leonardtown Raiders, falling 20-0. If the Wolverines were looking for revenge after losing 15-1 to the Raiders when the teams met back in May of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Westlake's loss dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Leonardtown, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 13-4.

Westlake has already played their next contest, a 21-11 victory against Thomas Stone on the 2nd. As for Leonardtown, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 7-3 win against Chopticon on the 2nd.
