Baseball Recap: Sparrows Point Comes Up Short

Sparrows Point and Eastern Tech squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Sparrows Point had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Mavericks by a score of 2-1. The Pointers were red-hot at the plate heading into the match (they scored no less than ten runs in the three contests prior), but the Mavericks' pitchers proved too tough.
