Basketball Recap: Jackson Takes a Loss

Jackson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 60-56 heartbreaker at the hands of the Coral Park Rams. The Generals were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Rams apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

Despite the loss, Jackson still got an impressive performance from Jordany Fils-Aime, who posted 25 points and six boards. That's the most points Fils-Aime has posted since back in February of 2024. Leonard Clark was another key player, putting up eight points.

Jackson's loss dropped their record down to 6-12. As for Coral Park, their win ended a six-game drought on the road and puts them at 12-10.

Jackson has already played their next contest, a 75-45 victory against North Miami on the 31st. As for Coral Park, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, an 81-66 win against Braddock on the 3rd.
