Volleyball Game Preview: Jefferson Dragons vs. Seckinger Jaguars

The Jefferson Dragons will head out on the road to face off against the Seckinger Jaguars at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Seckinger will be up against a hot Jefferson team: the squad just extended their winning streak to seven. The Dragons walked away with a 2-0 win over North Hall on Thursday.

Jefferson didn't let North Hall take a single set, but it sure wasn't easy: every set was decided by three points or less. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-23.

Meanwhile, Seckinger was able to grind out a solid victory over Discovery on Thursday, taking the game 2-0. The win continues a trend for the Jaguars in their matchups with the Titans: they've now won three in a row.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Seckinger took both sets by at least 15 points. The final score came out to 25-8, 25-10.

Jefferson's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Seckinger, their win bumped their record up to an identical 2-0.

Jefferson took their victory against Seckinger in their previous meeting back in August of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Dragons since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
