Basketball Recap: Searcy Takes a Loss

On Friday, the Searcy Lions were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 49-48 to the Rivercrest Colts. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Searcy's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 4-7. As for Rivercrest, their win was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-0.

Searcy will venture away from home to challenge Crowley's Ridge Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Rivercrest, they will be home for the holidays to greet Newport at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
