Softball Recap: Fayette County Comes Up Short

Fayette County and Hamilton squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Fayette County had to settle for second. They came up short against the Aggies, falling 6-0. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Aggies this season, with their most recent loss being a 4-1 defeat on April 3rd.

Fayette County has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 14 of their last 17 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-20 record this season. As for Hamilton, they moved to 21-22 with that win, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

As of now, neither Fayette County nor the Aggies have any future games scheduled.
