Volleyball Recap: Bowie Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Bowie lost against Arlington back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Volunteers lost 3-0 to the Colts. The Volunteers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Arlington was led to victory by Evelien Hodges and Kalysa Humbles. Hodges had 11 assists and seven digs, while Humbles had 19 digs, 11 kills, and two aces. Humbles is on a roll when it comes to kills, as she's now had six or more in each of the last 25 games she's played.

Bowie's defeat dropped their record down to 11-14. As for Arlington, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 17-20 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Bowie is set to take on their familiar foe Haltom at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Arlington will square off against rival Lamar at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
