Beachwood entered their tilt with St. Martin de Porres on Saturday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They blew past the St. Martin de Porres Lions, posting a 54-17 victory. The Bison have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matchups by 22 points or more this season.

Beachwood was led to victory by Zo? Walters and Goldi Aschkenasy. Walters went 10 for 20 on her way to 22 points along with eight steals and five rebounds, while Aschkenasy dropped a double-double on 14 points and 12 boards. Beachwood is 5-1 when Walters posts three or more steals, but 5-6 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Ana Shlachter, who posted six points and three steals.

Beachwood smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in five consecutive games.

Despite the defeat, St. Martin de Porres saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Ne'Amari Gibson put up nine points.

Beachwood's record is now 10-7. As for St. Martin de Porres, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests, which is still a better percentage than their 4-14 record this season.

Beachwood wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 60-50 loss against Lutheran West on the 3rd. St. Martin de Porres has also already played their next game, a 62-43 defeat against Medina Christian Academy on the 5th.
