O'Bryant came out on top against Excel Academy Charter on Thursday thanks in part to the team's impressive ten-run fifth inning. The Tigers blew past the Wolves 12-1. The game marked the Tigers' most dominant victory of the season.

Kai Hosokawa made a splash no matter where he played. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out eight over four innings pitched. Hosokawa was also big at the plate, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with two runs and one RBI.

In other pitching news, Jaelan Villar looked comfortable as he pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits.

Back at the plate, the team relied heavily on Hanleix Santana Perez, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one triple. Anderson Sweeney was another key player, going 1-for-3 with four stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.

O'Bryant's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-7. As for Excel Academy Charter, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8.

Coming up, O'Bryant will venture away from home to square off against Nantucket at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Excel Academy Charter does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
