Volleyball Recap: Wayne Takes a Loss

For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Wayne and North Rose-Wolcott meet (three straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Wednesday. The Eagles fell just short of the Cougars by a score of 3-2. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Cougars apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Wayne's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for North Rose-Wolcott, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Wayne is set to challenge their familiar foe Edison Tech at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, North Rose-Wolcott will take on rival School of the Arts at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
