Volleyball Game Preview: Tri-State Christian Huskies vs. Galesburg Christian Lions

After both having extra time off, the Tri-State Christian Huskies and the Galesburg Christian Lions will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Tri-State Christian has six straight victories, Galesburg Christian has ten straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

Tri-State Christian proved they can win big last Tuesday (they won by three) and last Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They won by a set and slipped past Quad Cities Christian 3-2.

Tri-State Christian took Quad Cities Christian into a fifth set where they got it done with a six-point win. The final score came out to 25-14, 18-25, 23-25, 25-11, 15-9.

Meanwhile, Galesburg Christian came up short against Quad Cities Christian on Monday and fell 3-1.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-23, 21-25, 25-19.

Tri-State Christian's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-1. As for Galesburg Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 0-4.

Everything went Tri-State Christian's way against Galesburg Christian in their previous matchup back in April, as Tri-State Christian made off with a 3-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Huskies since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
