Softball Recap: Mount Vernon Takes a Loss

If Mount Vernon was riding high fresh off their 24-6 takedown of Justice on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Majors came up short against the Thomas Jefferson Science & Technology Colonials on Monday, falling 15-5. The loss continues a trend for the Majors in their meetings with the Colonials: they've now lost six in a row.

Mount Vernon saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Isa Erpestad, who went 1-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.
