The Orosi Cardinals will square off against the Orange Cove Titans at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Orosi is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 28.7 points per game this season.

It was a proper cat-fight when Orosi faced off against Woodlake on Friday. The Cardinals took a 31-22 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tigers. The Cardinals have struggled against the Tigers recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Despite the defeat, Orosi got top-tier performance from Jason De La Cruz, who rushed for 118 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 7.4 yards per carry. De La Cruz has been hot, having posted two or more rushing touchdowns the last six times he's played.

The home team had won the previous four meetings between Orange Cove and Farmersville, and Orange Cove kept the tradition alive. The Titans came out on top against the Aztecs by a score of 21-8 on Friday.

Orange Cove's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-8. As for Orosi, their loss dropped their record down to 6-3.
