Baseball Recap: West Springfield Comes Up Short

West Springfield lost against Pope Francis Prep back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Terriers fell just short of the Cardinals by a score of 5-4.

West Springfield has also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-5 record this season. As for Pope Francis Prep, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 13-6.

Looking ahead, West Springfield will square off against Taconic at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Pope Francis Prep, they will host Pittsfield at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
