James Island is a perfect 10-0 against Cane Bay since September of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Trojans will host the Cobras at 6:00 p.m. James Island will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak.

James Island proved they can win big last Thursday (they won by three) and on Monday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out Porter-Gaud 3-2.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day James Island got the one that really mattered. The final score came out to 25-22, 21-25, 25-16, 18-25, 18-16.

Meanwhile, two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Cane Bay walked away with it. They put the hurt on the Swamp Foxes with a sharp 3-0 victory on Wednesday.

Cane Bay not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Ashley Ridge between 17 and 18 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-17, 25-18.

James Island better keep an eye on Ava Robertson. She was instrumental in Cane Bay's win, getting five digs and three aces.

Cane Bay was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 11 aces. They are a perfect 12-0 when they serve at least ten aces.

Cane Bay's win bumped their record up to 17-8-1. As for James Island, their victory bumped their record up to 27-9-1.

James Island took their win against Cane Bay when the teams last played back in August by a conclusive 3-0 score. Will the Trojans repeat their success, or do the Cobras have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
