Basketball Recap: West Forsyth Takes a Loss

West Forsyth was the 70-64 winner over Alpharetta when they last played one another on January 4th, but their luck changed this time around. The West Forsyth Wolverines took a 55-47 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Alpharetta Raiders on Tuesday. The Wolverines have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

West Forsyth's loss dropped their record down to 9-13. As for Alpharetta, their victory ended a six-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-18.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. West Forsyth won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Denmark at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. West Forsyth is facing Denmark at the right time seeing as Denmark is stuck on a 21-game losing streak. As for Alpharetta, they will square off against South Forsyth at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in South Forsyth's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three games.
