The matchup between Northfield and Southwood on Friday hardly resembled the 13-0 effort from their previous meeting. The Northfield Norsemen won a match that couldn't have been any closer, slipping by the Southwood Knights 35-34. The win was some much needed relief for the Norsemen as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak dating back to last season.

Northfield was led to victory by Kameron Pratt and Jake / Phil Perney. Pratt rushed for 85 yards and a touchdown on only six carries, while Perney rushed for 37 yards and a touchdown. The dominant performance gave Pratt a new career-high in rushing yards.
