Volleyball Recap: Lincoln Victorious

Lincoln lost to Routt Catholic back in October of 2019, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The Railsplitters walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Rockets.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Lincoln took both sets by at least ten points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-15.

Grace Bivin paced Lincoln's offense, picking up six kills. Bivin got some help from Lauren Tedrick and her 12 assists. Makia Hassebrock controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Lincoln now has a winning record of 13-12. As for Routt Catholic, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-16.

Lincoln wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Ottawa on the 11th. As for Routt Catholic, they have also already played their next match, a 2-1 loss against Bloomington on the 11th.
