Basketball Recap: San Dieguito Academy Takes a Loss

San Dieguito Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 15th straight loss dating back to last season. They were outmatched by the Steele Canyon Cougars and fell 67-19. The Mustangs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Cougars apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in June of 2021.

San Dieguito Academy's record is now 0-10. As for Steele Canyon, their victory bumped their record up to 8-5.

San Dieguito Academy and St. Joseph Academy will face off at 11:05 a.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. St. Joseph Academy is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 56.9 points per game this season. As for Steele Canyon, they and Scripps Ranch will face off at 2:15 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played.
