Softball Recap: Brenham Comes Up Short

After flying high against West Fork last Monday, Brenham came back down to earth. The Brenham Cubs came up short against the College Station Cougars on Tuesday, falling 8-1. The Cubs haven't had much luck with the Cougars recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Brenham now has a losing record of 4-5. As for College Station, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 8-1.

Looking ahead, Brenham will venture away from home to square off against Crosby at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday. As for College Station, they will take on Weiss in a tournament on Thursday.
