Basketball Recap: Treasure Coast Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Win

Treasure Coast extended their winning streak to four games thanks to a huge performance from Reniah Flynn. The Treasure Coast Titans enjoyed a cozy 70-55 victory over the Somerset College Prep Academy Spartans on Friday thanks in part to Flynn, who dropped a double-double on 35 points and 20 rebounds. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in points.

Despite the loss, Somerset College Prep Academy saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Khloe Rodgers went 7 of 11 from beyond the arc en route to 42 points and seven steals. Rodgers' evening made it 15 games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points. Nayeli Boisrond also deserves some recognition as she scored her first point of the season.

Treasure Coast's record now sits at 13-11. As for Somerset College Prep Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-10.

Treasure Coast will challenge Vero Beach at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Treasure Coast is facing Vero Beach at the right time seeing as Vero Beach is stuck on a nine-game losing streak. As for Somerset College Prep Academy, they will square off against Avon Park on Thursday. Somerset College Prep Academy is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 54.7 points per game this season.
