Volleyball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Normal West

It was a proper cat-fight when Normal West challenged Peoria on Thursday. The Wildcats came out on top against the Lions by a score of 2-0. Winning may never get old, but the Wildcats sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Normal West was: they took both sets by at least 16 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-5, 25-9.

Normal West's win bumped their record up to 16-14. As for Peoria, they dropped their record down to 1-19 with the defeat, which was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Normal West will face off against rival Bloomington at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Peoria is set to challenge their familiar foe Champaign Central at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
