Recap: Mt. Enterprise Wildcats vs. Carlisle Indians
The Mt. Enterprise Wildcats waltzed into their match on Tuesday with two straight wins but they left with three. They took down Carlisle 57-42. For Mt. Enterprise, this counts as revenge for the 59-55 loss Carlisle walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2023.
Mt. Enterprise's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jack Maples led the charge by dropping a double-double on 15 points and 18 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Maples has scored all season. Kaegan Ash was another key contributor, scoring 18 points along with five rebounds and four steals.
Mt. Enterprise pushed their record up to 13-9 with that victory, which was their third straight at home. As for Carlisle, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-7.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mt. Enterprise will challenge New Summerfield at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. New Summerfield is coming into the contest on a six-game losing streak. As for Carlisle, they will head out on the road to take on Cushing at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Cushing is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak.
