Basketball Recap: Hellgate Triumphs

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Skyview, Hellgate was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They walked away with a 54-41 win over the Great Falls Bison. The Knights have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Bison, too.

Zane Gillhouse had a dynamite game for Hellgate, going 8 for 13 on his way to 18 points and six rebounds. Chance McNulty was another key player, putting up 11 points.

Hellgate now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Great Falls, they are on a ten-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

After both having extra time off, Hellgate and Russell will dust off their jerseys to take on one another at 7:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025. As for Great Falls, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Sentinel at 4:00 p.m. on January 4, 2025.
